Saint Michael the Archangel
Not a saint — an archangel

God sent him to fight for you.

You only have to ask him.

Saint Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel

He never lived a human life. Scripture names him three times — in Daniel, in Jude, in Revelation — and every time, he is in a battle.

The protection is God’s. Michael carries the asking.

Three steps

How to begin asking.

1

Pray the Prayer to St. Michael

It has a name and a history. Pope Leo XIII composed it in 1886 and ordered it said at the end of every Mass — where it stayed until the reforms of the 1960s. Most parishes stopped. Many have since started again.

“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.”

Say it once in the morning. It takes about twenty seconds, and it is the same prayer your grandparents knelt through every Sunday of their childhood.

2

Call on him in the moment

The long prayer is for the morning. The short one is for the rest of the day — the traffic, the diagnosis, the argument you can feel coming, the temptation that arrives before you have thought about it.

“St. Michael, defend me.”Four words. That is enough.

You do not need the right words or the right posture. The Church has always called these short prayers aspirations — a breath, said where you stand.

3

Wear a physical reminder that he is with you

Steps one and two are simple. They are also the first things a full week erases. A resolution made on Sunday disappears into school runs and deadlines, and by Thursday you cannot remember when you last asked for anything.

This is the oldest reason the Church has given people something to hold. Not because the object acts — it never has — but because a small weight against your chest is found by your hand a dozen times a day without you deciding to look for it. Each time it is found, you remember.

That is why we made the St. Michael Pendant.

Step three

The St. Michael Pendant

The St. Michael Pendant
The front — Michael at the moment of victory, spear driving down, inside a gold rim.
The back — Ephesians 6:10 cut into the metal: “Be strong in the Lord, for His power is mighty.”
The sword — cast as its own piece and hung beside the medal, not stamped flat into the relief.
Struck, not printed — pressed into the metal, so it does not wear off the way printing does.

It cannot protect you. It reminds you to ask the one who can.
